Shri Parvati Chalisa & Aarti

Parvati, wife of lord Shiva, is the shakti behind all the goddesses, yes behind all the ten Mahavidyas, she alone is. Her conversations with lord Shiva are always very meaningful and practical — whenever she talked to lord Shiva, it turned out to be a Granth. To which everyone (who believe in them) follows and takes to the heart. Following is her Chalisa and Aarti to please her, even you worship any of Mahavidyas, it just reaches to her. Shri Parvati Chalisa ॥

List Of 33 Crore Devi Devata

Once I visited a temple, someone told me that temple had 33 crore Devi & Devata engraved on the temple walls. I couldn’t count ‘coz there were lots of; I tried to search later on but couldn’t find any list of them. Since my childhood I’m listening the same thing too “there are 33 crore Devi & Devatas of Hindu people.” Perhaps, I’ll find the list one day, but below is some important things which we should know. It is 33 Koti (कोटि) देवी - देवता, so now we count this number 33. 12 Aditya + 8 Vasu + 11 Rudra + 2 Ashwin Kumar = 33. This is now 33 types. It is said, this word “Koti” has two meaning: one is type (प्रकार); second is crore (करोड़). In fact below is of 33 types, but they look to me just Purush Gods, there is no Goddess in them — but this is what popular these days on social media.

Navratri, Navdurga Vrat & Katha

Publicly this festival is celebrated two times a year for nine days: first starts from, next day of Chaitra Maas Amavasya; and second starts from, next day of Kwar Maas Amavasya. Gupt Navratri, that is secret Navratri also celebrated two times a year; in total there are four Navratris. They are important to Vaishnava, Shaiv and Shakt — as without the Goddess nothing really happens. Ancient Vrat Katha In war between Rakshasas and Devatas, each time Rakshasas won ‘coz they were led by Shumbh and Nishubh, most mightful Rakshasas. At last, when Devatas didn’t see any way out, they ran to Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva — collectively each contribute part of their Tapa (spiritual energy) at particular point, and thus Devi Durga manifested. Now she was empty handed so lord Shiva gave their Trident, Vishnu gave their Sudarshan Chakra, Indra gave their Vajra, like this, each one gave their Astra and Shastra to Devi Durga; and inspired her to kill Rakshasas.

Shri Vaishno Devi Chalisa & Aarti

It is said one should go at least two times to Vaishno Devi, it is a powerhouse of spiritual energy where three stones represents Maha-Kali, Maha-Saraswati and Maha-Lakshmi. Some people go for Darshan every year or twice a year. In fact, one should visit Shakti Peeth time to time, they are energy centers or charging points to charge our spiritual battery. All kinds of problems start coming when our spiritual energy is down. Vaishno Devi Chalisa and Aarti helps to get the grace of three Goddesses — Kali, Saraswati and Lakshmi. Lakshmi gives monetary benefits, Saraswati gives knowledge and wisdom, and Kali helps in removing enemy trouble. वैष्णो देवी चालीसा

Why Other Devis Not Included In Das Mahavidyas?

In most of tantra books, Devis (Goddesses) of Das Mahavidyas are fixed: 1 Kali (काली), 2 Tara (तारा), 3 Shodashi (षोडशी), 4 Bhuvneshwari (भुवनेश्वरी), 5 Tripur Bhairavi (त्रिपुर भैरवी), 6 Chhinmasta (छिन्नमस्ता), 7 Dhoomavati (धूमावती), 8 Baglamukhi (बगलामुखी), 9 Matangi (मातंगी). 10 Kamla (कमला). And nobody has questions about them. If you master all  Maha Vidyas, you are supposed to be a great Guru, super Siddha, and what not. But have you ever thought why Devis like Pratyangira, Varahi, Sharada, Durga; and Devatas like Shiv, Vishnu, Brahma — and lot of others are not included in Das Mahavidyas ? What is the specialty about these ten? The answer is. These Maha Vidyas give blessings too fast, that's why they are recommended and every sadhaka runs for them. If you get right Guru and right Sadhana procedure, it is said, nothing is impossible for you.
