I think it will be useful if Laghu Pran-Pratistha Mantra is read along with. Laghu Pran-Pran Pratistha Mantra is used to infuse the Prana of a Devi / Devta in their Murti / Vigrah or Yantra.
Part 1 (In simple way.)
It is a simple procedure, the syntax is -- ॐ श्री देवी / देवता नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी ।
आवाहयामि = inviting to come.
स्थापयामि = assuming they have come, now requesting them to take a seat.
पूजियामी = assuming they have taken a seat, now offer flowers for their Poojan, light a diya and offer some fruits / dry fruits / cooked food to eat.
For Ganesh Ji: ॐ श्री गणेशाय नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी ।
For Shri Batuk Bhairv: ॐ श्री बटुक भैरवाय नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी ।
For Devi Durga: ॐ श्री दुर्गा देव्यै नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी ।
For Devi Kali:ॐ श्री काली देव्यै नमः ! + same
For Devi Bagla:ॐ श्री बगलामुखि देव्यै नमः ! + same
For Devi Lalita Trupur Sundari:ॐ श्री ललिता त्रिपुर सुंदरी देव्यै नमः ! + same
For Shiv: ॐ श्री शिवाय नमः ! + same
For Vishnu Ji: ॐ श्री विष्णवे नमः ! + same
For Surya: ॐ श्री सूर्याय नमः ! + same
For Hanuman Ji: ॐ श्री हनुमते नमः ! + same
Panchopchar Puja
Panchopchar / पाँच उपचार : Panch mens five and Upachar here connotes ways of doing Puja, so it is "five ways of doing Puja. Generally these five things are included -- 1 गन्ध, 2 पुष्प, 3 धूप, 4 दीप और 5 नैवेद्य.
The syntax is -- ॐ श्री देवी / देवता नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी। + 1 गन्धम् विलेपयामि, 2 पुष्पाणि समर्पयामि, 3 धूपम् आघ्रापयामि, 4 दीपम् दर्शयामि, 5 नैवेद्यं निवेदयामि ।
While offering perfume / scent / itr : गन्धम् विलेपयामि
While offering flowers: पुष्पाणि समर्पयामि
When lighting Dhoop = धूपम आघ्रापयामि
When lighting Deep = दीपम दर्शयामी
When offering fruits/ sweets = नैवेद्यं /फलम/ मिस्ठान समर्पयामी or निवेदयामि
Shodashopachar Puja
Shodashopachar / सोलह उपचार : Sodash means sixteen, so it is "sixteen ways of doing Puja," These 16 things are included -- 1 पाद्य, 2 अर्घ्य, 3 आचमन, 4 स्नान, 5 वस्त्र, 6 आभूषण, 7 गन्ध, 8 पुष्प, 9 धूप, 10 दीप, 11 नैवेद्य, 12 आचमन, 13 ताम्बूल, 14 स्तव-पाठ, 15 तर्पण और 16 नमस्कार। In these 16 things, few may differ, when things aren't available we may use alternates.
The syntax is -- ॐ श्री देवी / देवता नमः ! आवाहयामि, स्थापयामि, पूजियामी। + 1 आसनं समर्पयामि , 2 पाद्यं समर्पयामि , 3 अर्घ्यं समर्पयामि, 4 आचमनम् समर्पयामि, 5 स्नानम् समर्पयामि, 6 वस्त्रम् समर्पयामि, 7 यज्ञोपवीतम् समर्पयामि, 8 गन्धम् विलेपयामि, 9 अक्षतान् समर्पयामि, 10 पुष्पाणि समर्पयामि, 11 धूपम् आघ्रापयामि, 12 दीपम् दर्शयामि, 13 नैवेद्यं निवेदयामि , 14 ताम्बूलपूगीफलानि समर्पयामि, 15 दक्षिणां समर्पयामि, 16 सर्वाभावे अक्षतान् समर्पयामि, and ततो नमस्कारं करोमि.
Note: there are more ways of doing Puja, like 64 ways of doing Puja, Rajopachar Puja, like that, but generally every day Panchopachar Puja is being done and for special days Shodashopachar Puja is being done.
