In last days of Navratri, Kumari / Kanya Bhojan (food offering to young girls) is considered a major part of Navratri Durga Puja, 'coz we invoke nine kinds of Devi in nine young girls. This way nine kinds of Devi are supposed to come and eat our food directly. The names of such nine Devi are as follows:
कुमारिका
त्रि-मूर्ति
कल्याणी
रोहिणी
काली
चण्डिका
शाम्भवी
दुर्गा
सुभद्रा
If one or two young boys come with the young girls, we should serve them also -- Devta / Devi exists in all children. Young boys are called "Batuk / Langur" that day: Batuk signifies to Batuk Bhairav and Langur to Lord Hanuman. Remember that Batuk Bhairav and Hanuman are the Ang-Devata of Devi Durga -- they always go where Devi Durga goes.
