This day, labors don’t work, and worship their working tools (these tools also worshiped on Dussehra), this way they give regard to Vishwakarma who is the good of construction, manufacturing, architecture, design, metallurgy, and everything related to minute or major construction. It is said, all the Astras and Shastras that Hindu Gods and Goddesses hold, they all are constructed by Viswakarma.

Just few months ago, on social networking, I saw a Trishool of Goddess Durga, which no scientist could ever discover its metal. Don’t know if it was original Trishul, or it was just a fake story.

Viswakarma also constructed lord Krishna Palace Dwarka (which went under water over time). He also helped other Gods and Goddesses in many thing they ever wanted. People who worship Viswakarma, are supposed to get a unique insight, inspiration, better ideas and motivation that make their work truly marvellous.

It is said, people who worship Viswakarma gets success in the field of Architecture, Construction & Design — ‘coz Vishwakarma is the soul of these things. I think Vishwakarma should be worshiped before the beginning of any architecture and construction; and related studies. Those who are students they should worship Vishwakarma with Sarswati.

Essential Nyas For A Sadhak To Do Everyday

Nyas means to establish something (Devi / Devta energy) in our body: it purifies our body and makes our body and mind worthy of chanting a mantra / stotra. A Sadhak should do भूत-शुद्धि, बहिर्मातृका न्यास, अन्तर्मातृका न्यास, and षोढा-न्यास daily, 'coz we worship Devta by becoming a Devta, and in that Nyas helps us a lot. In every mantra generally many kinds of Nyas are given prior to chanting a mantra, they are usually shorter and doesn't take much time. They are essential and shouldn't be skipped.
