Panchopachar has five steps of puja (worship); Dashopachar has ten steps; and Shodashopachar has sixteen steps of puja to please our deity. These things take 5, 10, and 16 types of ingredients respectively, it’s just that.
If you are in a jungle or lack money, so can’t afford those ingredients — you can do worship mentally too, just visualize each item in your memory and offer to your deity
In case, you are looking for ingredients (Samagri), here they are:
In short cut
Take a bath, wear clean clothes and clean your temple / altar. Just light a diya, (don’t use those cheap dhoopbatti / agarbatti made of mobil-oil, it will harm your lungs), offer some food (that will turn in prasad later on) — and start chanting some mantra, path or strot.
