It’s December in India, and cold waves take their pace: one is supposed to wear sweaters and jackets, and keep away from water (i.e., don’t take bath three times a day).
As I am quite sensitive to winter season, last year cold waves couldn’t go through my protective system that my body generates in chemicals and hormones — what I ate, I don’t remember exactly but my food is vegetarian for 365 days, I don’t take alcohol; yes I take tea and sometimes coffee too. Last year was God grace, I suppose.
This year after one week in December, my nose flowed like streamy river, it went on. I felt it was some kind of healing, but as soon as fever hit me two times — it was something more than a healing and I thought in my mind, “if I didn’t consult my doctor this will break me for ever.” As when cough starts generating more and more, it keeps on collecting itself in lungs, and situation turns terrible; and fever is just a signal that your body isn’t ready for the war you want to fight without doctor’s help.
One night I passed breaking my body in the fever — I couldn't take another blanket myself and didn’t ask for anybody’s help; this is perfect example how do you suffer fever punishment with grace. Though I am not much tolerant by nature but sometimes become when I thought others shouldn’t lose their comfort just ‘coz of me.
I passed that terrible night and early morning ran for the doctor, whose mere glance at me kills all the strong bacterias and improves my body immunity. It’s my faith that never failed and its price is many times more fee to this doctor than any street doctor.
I was surprised, he didn’t write any blood test this time but checked me thoroughly: eyes, tongue, bp, chest and back. The medicines he wrote I’m sharing here.
- Tab - Ritolide 250 (Two times a day)
- Tab - Paracetamol 650 (Three times a day)
- Cap - Domperidone Sustained Release (One time a day)
- Tab - Montral (One time a day)
- Syrup - Lupituss
Even if you have similar problem, don’t take this prescription ‘coz they vary person to person — as Paracetamol 650 is, I think too high, it may cause some problem.
My doctor called me for the second visit (next day). If he changes the medicines or recommends some blood tests I will share with you — though my condition is improving and that will hardly the case, I think.
I went day next to next-day, and he prescribed medicines for 4 days:
- Tab - Bactoclav 625 (Three times a day)
- Tab - Helirab-D (One time a day)
- Tab - Allercet-M (One time a day)
- Tab - Paracetamol 650 (Three times a day)
- Syrup - Lupituss
I hope they are too much medicines, and I'm going to take Paracetamol 650, just two times a day 'coz I'm not having fever since I met the doctor but cold is still here in my lungs, throat and nostrils.
