After being Pin enabled, Chip enabled and verified by Visa enabled — If you try to do dollar payment with your International Visa Debit Card, you just need to #) write your name that is on the card, #) card number, #) CVV number of the Debit Card, #) and nothing else; payment is done instantly. That is what happened with me, it took me by "surprise" 'coz that site didn't route me via "verified by Visa".
My Debit Card worked like Credit Card. Though I didn't have any problem (but it didn't pleased me at all). I couldn't understand any advantage of "verified by Visa" in this case.
I used Axis Bank's International Visa Debit Card. If you had the same experience and bitten by some surprise, show me your voice in comments. For next time, I'm thinking to connect my Debit Card with PayPal or something else reliable to make Dollar payment.
The way Debit Card works in India and Abroad is totally different :(. Each Indian Bank should tell these things along with giving a International Debit Card.
