Guru Purnima Katha & Aarti

 Om Guruve Namah !

Om Dattatreyay Namah !
Om Gorakhnathaay Namah !
Om Gurumandalaay Namah !

Guru Purnima is celebrated on Ashadha Sudi Purnima. This festival is just for a Guru (everyone’s Guru) — if a person doesn’t have a Guru, they can understand their deity as a Guru. And even if you don’t have any deity, you can consider lord Shiva, lord Hanuman or any Devi (Kali, Durga, etc) your Guru.

The main work of Guru is to help their disciples progressing; if you don’t have any progress after making someone your Guru, then you should move to another Guru — there is no harm in leaving a Guru when your time and efforts both are ruined.

A good Guru is worth worshiping, and in things like Tantra a Guru is must — ‘coz Guru has gone through the path you want to tread. And Guru is a link between you and your deity (god or goddess).

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ॥
गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:॥

This is a popular stotra, it says — Guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva; Guru is Par-Brahma (cause of everything); and I bow down to that Guru.

Below is from Shrimad Bhagwat telling about a Guru.

तावत परिचरेद भक्तः श्रद्धावान न सूचकः ॥
यावत् ब्रह्म विजानीयानममेव गुरुमाद्रतः ॥

And with below one, everyone is much familiar:

गुरु गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े काके लागू पाय ॥
बलिहारी गुरु आपकी गोविन्द (diety) दियो बताय ॥

Once Veda Vyasa disciples thought to worship their Guru, so collectively they came out on a date that was (is) “Ashadha Sudi Purnima” according to Hindu Calender. Since that time every year this festival is celebrated.

Guru ji ki Aarti

1) आरति प्रिय गुरुवर कीजै जनम सफल कर लीजै ॥
2) कंचन थार कपूर की बाटी जगमग ज्योति जलै दिन राती ॥
3) भाव सहित गुरु भक्ति कीजै ज्ञान भक्ति उर भर लीजै ॥
4) काम क्रोध मद लोभ बिसारौ गुर मूरित निज मन में धारौ ॥
5) तन मन धन गुरु अर्पण कीजै श्रद्धा भक्ति सहित सब कीजै ॥
6) भाव के फूल भक्ति की माला श्रद्धा दीपक ज्योति उजाला ॥
7) श्री गुरु चरण कमल चित दीजै, आरती प्रिय गुरुवर की कीजै ॥
8) भक्ति ज्ञान सदा उर आवै जो गुरु चरन सरन में जावै ॥
9) गुरु की कृपा भक्ति भव रोग निवारी ॥
10) चार पदारथ हैं जग माहीं गुरु भक्ति से दुर्लभ नहीं ॥
11) अति अनुरागी वारणै लीजै, आरती प्रिय गुरुवर की कीजै ॥
12) जो जन भक्ति सहित गुरु आरती गावै बिन श्रम सुलभ मुक्ति को पांवै ॥
13) इन्द्र मुनि गुरु चरण गहीजा सर्वोत्तम है गुरु की पूजा ॥

Essential Nyas For A Sadhak To Do Everyday

Nyas means to establish something (Devi / Devta energy) in our body: it purifies our body and makes our body and mind worthy of chanting a mantra / stotra. A Sadhak should do भूत-शुद्धि, बहिर्मातृका न्यास, अन्तर्मातृका न्यास, and षोढा-न्यास daily, 'coz we worship Devta by becoming a Devta, and in that Nyas helps us a lot. In every mantra generally many kinds of Nyas are given prior to chanting a mantra, they are usually shorter and doesn't take much time. They are essential and shouldn't be skipped. These  भूत-शुद्धि, बहिर्मातृका न्यास, अन्तर्मातृका न्यास, and षोढा-न्यास take comparatively longer time duration.  भूत-शुद्धि means purification of five elements in our body, that is Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu), and Ether (Aakash). बहिर्मातृका Nyas and अन्तर्मातृका Nyas, establish  "energy of our VarnMala" in our body-parts and in our chakras respectively.   षोढा-न्यास is of two types Lagu Shoda Nyas and Maha Shoda Nyas.

It may help in any kind of chronic disease -- we just need to learn how to prepare them.  Things to eat / drink: Smoothie Salad / fruits / vegetables Steamed vegetables (when raw vegetables are difficult to eat.) Why Two Types Of Navratri Are More Popular

Navratri comes four times in a year: 1) In Chitra (Vasant) Maas, 2) In Sharad (Ashwin) Maas, 3) In Ashadha (आषाढ़) Maas, and 4) in Magh Maas. As it is written in the following Shaloka: चैत्रे आश्विने तथाषाढे, माघे कार्यों महोत्सवः। नव रात्रे महाराज! पूजा कार्या विशेषतः ।।  Generally, we are told that two Navratri are for public and rest two Navratri are called Gupt Navratri. These two Gupt Navratri are for the Sadhak --- but it isn't the exact fact. All four Navratri are for general public and for all dedicated Devi Sadhak, there is no secret. Fact is during the time of Chaitra and Sharad, weather changes a lot -- so there are chances of getting diseases. Shap Vimochan & Shapoddhar (शाप-विमोचन एवं शापोद्धार) of Shri Batuk Bhairav Mantra / Stotra

The meaning of "Shap" is "Curse," many mantras / Stotras are cursed / Keelit by Rishis and Devatas to stop their misuse. If powerful thing goes in wrong hands, only misuse happens. To remove that Shap, or say to unlock them some Vidhis (methods) were used to be given. So, below is like that. (Pls also consider Utkeelan Mantra & Stotra of Shri Batuk Bhairav .)
