 Shiva is AdiYogi, AdiGuru, AdiHealer, AdiProtector and what not — he has everything in him. And most important he is loved by everyone Sur, Asur, Naag, and others. He is supposed to get pleased very fast. His famous days are of Shivratri and his famous mantra is Maha-Mrityunjaya mantra. Below are his names to get his grace.  When you chant Om Namah Shivay, Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, or A Great Shiv Yogi; then how can you leave his Aarti ? Which has just 8 lines, beautifully depict him.  When I was writing this draft, suddenly Google Docs stopped writing in Hindi, so I tried Google Input Tool in writing this. Sometimes I write drafts on Google Docs and sometimes in WordPress itself. Now coming to this Chalisa, lord Shiva is said to be a kind hearted, that’s why he is also called “Bhola Bhandari” means he pleases very fast — and on the other hand, he gets angry very fast too. In Hindu Spiritual Stories, when Devtas had some problem, most of time they ran to lord Shiva — and got the solution. In every Hindu temple, there is Shiva, check the temple you might have visited. The most popular things about Shiva are — his accessories, snake and trident; mantras like “Om Namah Shivay”, Tryambakam mantra “Om Tryambaakam Yajamahe …” and mantra “Om Hrom Jum Sah.” And mostly importantly, he is a great ascetic and indulges in meditative state.
